Myself and my girlfriend booked a 3 day break at the Hotel and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The staff were exceptional, attentive and appeared to really enjoy their jobs which was apparent at all times. As a result you were given the feeling that they were only too happy to help you and further aided in the making you feel relaxed. The hotel was very comfortable and though we did not engage in any of the Spa treatments we took full advantage of the Hot tub, Jacuzzi, Steam Room, Sauna, Foot Spa and swimming pool. This break was aranged as a birthday gift to a country lass who now lifes a stressful life in the city and boy was it the perfect tonic. If only we could have stayed longer!
Zilcho McNowt, I cannot fault the experience. We enjoyed a perfect stay which was made all the better by perfect weather, I love it when a plan comes together.

The breakfast was gorgeous with juices and yogurts. the staff were polite. - Our accommodation was set in a very central location close to the conservatory that overlooks the children's play area, the restaurant, or the bar and the fields.

absolutely amazing location, SPA is brilliant. Best option if you after walks in woods. We had a very pleasant and relaxing time.
for some reason it was a bit hot in our room so our first night wasn't very comfortable.

The staff were quirky and friendly and we liked that approach over the run of the mill hotel staff. Good facilities, lovely spa.
Odd comment, but the duvet made a lot of noise if you moved.

The Spa is great, as are the ladies working there. And the outside hot tub is fantastic.
I wasn't too happy with there not being a showerhead bracket or shower curtain - you had to hold it yourself all the time and invariably got water all over the floor. Also, the £13 burger is a huge.....disappointment. And no Guinness!

Stunning setting with views of deer and horses grazing on surrounding grassland with the forest as a backdrop. Excellent spa facilities and highlight would have to be outdoor hot-tub in the evening under the stars.
Bathroom was cramped, damp and smelt of mildew, although mainly used the spa facilities which were excellent.

the spa range of facilities were superb ,especially, relaxing in the hot tub gazing up at the stars at night .We all appreciated the peace and quiet of this rural location and liked looking out at the deer and horses grazing contentedly on the fields surrounding the hotel. We all enjoyed the feeling of being in the New forest with direct access. The historic house also made this a memorable, distinctive hotel .We appreciated the excellent variety of places to sit in the daytime,, both inside and in the grounds,so we could choose diferent places to gather to socialise and chat or just sit alone. and destress
The service was too slow in the dining room which spoilt our dining experience. The dinner was expensive and we did not think that it was worth it. We resented that certain items cost extra and we think that this policy should be reviewed. We were amazed that the dinner menu remained the same every night so we only ate in the hotel once. There is a new catering manager which should sort this al out !!.the public rooms and corridors were very cold at night so guests went out or to the spa or to bed so be prepared .

Thanks for the really nice stay, no reason to complain. Wonderful, fairly clean, reasonably large hotel, the location is great in the woodlands. The rooms are impeccably clean and brand-new with three showers, a comfortable large bed plus the bedroom. The breakfast is exceptionally good and gorgeous, offered with juices and yogurts, as example. The property provided a TERRIFIC customer service during our weekend.
